As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Here’s what that means in plain terms.
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same — the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
How this affects what I recommend
It doesn’t. I know every affiliate site says that, so here’s the specific commitment: I will not recommend a product I wouldn’t suggest to a friend, and when I think something isn’t worth buying, I say so — including products that would pay me if you bought them. You’ll find “what I’d skip” sections throughout this site for exactly that reason.
Commission rates in the categories I write about are low — typically around 3% of the sale. On a $15 item that’s about 45 cents. There is no amount of commission that makes it worth losing your trust over.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on this site are approximate and change often. Always check the current price on the retailer’s site before buying. I try to keep figures current, but I can’t guarantee accuracy at the moment you’re reading.
